Light : Teas with a light and bright character, with the freshness of spring and cooling effect on the body
Shade: The middle ground, very well balanced teas. Lighter oolongs, aged teas or wild/tribal.
Dark: Black teas and highly oxidised or roasted oolongs and Puer. These are dark and warming in character, often woody, spicy, with rich sweetness or fruitiness.
